Home Staging For Every Budget

Ann Yrisarri from A.N. Company talks about home staging for every budget and what it can do to reduce the number of days on market

BrokeripTV  : We are talking today with Ann Yrisarri from A.N company. It is a design and staging firm and Ann thanks for joining us.

Ann Yrisarri: Thank you for having me.

BrokeripTV  : [Audio interlapse]. What can people do with relatively little money out of their pocket to kind of spruce up their home and get it ready to sell?

Ann Yrisarri: First of all you have to make a great impression and that starts with the front door and paint whether its interior or exterior is your best friend in this case. They put new paint on the front door and shutters if you have them but a new fresh clean door mat out and a big pot of flowers and certainly manicure the yard in turn the bushes back because we need as much light in the house as possible.

BrokeripTV  : Ok.

Ann Yrisarri: Going into the interior their house certainly declutter those book shelves, clear out your entry way, neutralize bathrooms put in fresh fluffy new towels and take toilet trace off the counter. We just want to create as much space as possible.

BrokeripTV  : I have been around you enough to know that it seems like clutter is always one of those buzzwords that we use a lot. Do people just have too much stuff?

Ann Yrisarri: Absolutely they do. Way too much stuff and we need light in the houses well, add some lamps, it seems like that
