Broker IPTV: We are talking today with Steve Olson from Prestige Real Estate Group, LLC and Steve is the past chair of the South Metro Denver Realtor Association and been very involved with Metrolist, thanks for being here, good to see you.


Steve Olson: My pleasure.


Broker IPTV: I want to talk about Prime Access Mobile, which is essentially now getting the listing information from your computer now on your phone. Tell us a little bit about that?


Steve Olson: Well I think it's really an exciting new product and I utilize it all day long and what it allows me to do is when I am in the field, I can search for homes on the internet through my mobile PDA, I can search by MLS number, by address number and here is the common example. I have my clients in the car and we are driving around and I have five properties, I am going to show them and we drive past a sign and they say how about that one and it is not on my list. Well, immediately I can pull over, pull out my PDA, look up that listing, get up to ten photos with that search and also all the information and then they say "oh, I kind a like it, can we see it." Well I have them any showing information right there and before you know it I have my clients inside the house and we are looking at the house. What a great tool is that. <read more>

Broker IPTV: Because in the past, I mean your alterative is you pull over, you get the phone number of the sign, but then you got the go, if don't get the agent you got the go through the front desk. You got give your agent ID. You got give them your office ID. Then they cannot tell you the price that they got to get you to a realtor and so that's very time consume is compared to punch it up on your phone.


Steve Olson: Right and even more important than that is that you can rule it in or out, right there in the car. well it doesn't have enough bedrooms or it doesn't have walk out basement that you are looking for, so they can make a decision right there, before they step in the house that is or is not the house they want see.


Broker IPTV: Right, in your group how many would you say roughly percentage wise if your realtors you know using the mobile technology.


Steve Olson: Well, I would say it got to be 60% - 70% of adoption already. Almost all of our agents are moving towards having the PDA that has internet capability or wireless capability and it is so easy for them Metrolist makes it so easy to put at mobile.metrolist.com, write on your phone that they are adopting it very easily and as soon as they get bit, like you say without that ability in the field, they go and get it.
