A broker for Infinity Group Realty-Eric Sachs discusses real estate opportunities in Costa Rica.

BrokerIPTV: Today we are talking with Eric Sachs, owner and broker for Infinity Group Realty and thanks for being with us. Appreciate that.

Eric Sach: Thank you Dan.

BrokerIPTV: Talking about Costa Rica, you guys have gone in to the business of helping agents sell Costa Rica. So, why do you want to help agents sell Costa Rica?

Eric Sach: You know that is a good question Dan. We, my business partner and I, fell in love with Costa Rica the first time we went down there and we saw incredible opportunity. We are real estate agents in Northern Colorado, we have been in this market for years, and we saw some thing that we could add to our toolbox that would supplement our local real estate and we got into it. As we got into it, it grew and grew and grew. The buzz about Costa Rica, the minute you start to talk about it, the phone starts ringing and we wanted to bring that home and let other real estate agents, in reality we have 20 agents in our office in Fort Collins and as they started learning bits and pieces about Costa Rica, they craved more and more and more and they wanted to put it in their toolbox and we just started within our company teaching our agents how to do it and when they started to refer and make money off of listings in Costa Rica, we thought we could bring that to the rest of the real estate community.

BrokerIPTV: So you are even putting on seminars for agents to learn how to sell Costa Rica - talk about that?

Eric Sach: The seminars are an education based seminar where we... it's kind of multifaceted. The first part of our seminar deals with just educating agents about Costa Rica. After that, we go into a technical real estate class where we explain the process in Costa Rica, how it works, it's different than the United States, and how they can go out to their sphere, use their imagination, and sell property in Costa Rica.

BrokerIPTV: All right. So, can they go to your website to find out about classes?

Eric Sach: They can.

BrokerIPTV: And that is?

Eric Sach: It is infinitycostarica.com.

BrokerIPTV: All right. I am not licensed in Costa Rica. Does that matter?

Eric Sach: It does not matter.

BrokerIPTV: Really? I can be a licensed agent in Colorado and it won't matter?

Eric Sach: You can be a licensed agent in Colorado and it does not matter.

BrokerIPTV: Now there is the realtor out there that is saying okay, there going to train me how to sell real estate in Costa Rica. When? Where? How? Well, what is in it for them? What does Infinity Group Real Estate get? Do they get a commission? Do they get a referral? What do they get?

Eric Sach: You know Dan that is a good question. It kind of runs on two levels. Through these classes, a real estate agent can go out and do this on their own if they would like to. The other opportunity is to work with Infinity Costa Rica. We do a kind of referral basis. We pay a higher referral than normal. We pay a 35% referral fee to any agent that brings a client to us.
