Lenore Wilkas Unchained at the Bloodhound Blogging Convention

BrokerIPTV: Greetings and welcome to BloodHoundBlog Unchained sponsored by Zillow.com. We are at the Heard Museum in Phoenix, Arizona at this revolutionary social media real estate event. I am here talking with Lenore. Can you say your last name Lenore?

Lenore Wilkas: Wilkas.

BrokerIPTV: Wilkas and you are from California?

Lenore Wilkas: I am from Burlingame, California, just south of San Francisco, almost near SFO.

BrokerIPTV: And so what have you found out so far here? What is your feelings on Unchained?

Lenore Wilkas: I think it has been an interesting first pass for them. There are some things that I found fascinating. Greg Swann talked about doing websites around a historical district where he is chronicling every house within the district. I don't remember if he said how many houses, I think it maybe several thousand houses. Oh, I think the whole thing is about 22,000 houses in fact. I would like to do something similar although I don't live in an area that has what we would call historical homes per se. So, I think I am going to emulate that with neighborhoods giving an example of the neighborhood with various types of houses. So, I really loved that idea. Some of the things were very elementary. I have been around Internet space for a very long time. So, I didn't need to be back the way I use to have to sell the Internet, but it has been fun so far, always fun to be around great people.

BrokerIPTV: How about some ideas in the integration of the Web 2.0 space with say seeds.

Lenore Wilkas: [Laughs] Yes, when I go to something like this rather than handing out a regular business card, I hand out a packet of forget me not notes and on the back, got information about my husband and I, our URL although we have got two of them, we have got the one that we are really pushing right now, www.sanmateorealestatenews.com; the other one is www.wilkasgroup.com. We talk about different things. I should say I talk about different things speaking strictly to my constituency and that is people out there; I don't talk to other realtors.

BrokerIPTV: And do you feel you got your money's worth? Good event to have attended and now you are looking forward to the next event?

Lenore Wilkas: Yes, definitely, besides which I needed the break. It was wonderful.
