In this BrokerIPTV video from the 2010 Realtor Rally in Denver, Kathy Soltero talks to Patrick Armbrust of the Armbrust Real Estate Institute about changes in contracts.

Interviewer: Hi, I am Kathy Soltero with Broker IPTV. Today we are at the 2010 Realtor Rally and joining me is Patrick Armbrust. Patrick, good to see you again.

Patrick Armbrust: Good to see you, Kathy.

Interviewer: Hey, tell me a little bit about some of the new contract changes that we are going to be seeing because you specialize a lot of that.

Patrick Armbrust: A lot of big changes in contracts coming this year, Kathy. We have some new buy and sell contracts, primarily the forms committee is going to take the residential contract and they are going to split that out, we are having a commercial contract coming, and agricultural contract, a residential contract and then I believe it's an investment property contract, so lot of big changes this year.

Interviewer: Why so many of these different contract this time?

Patrick Armbrust: I think that people in those specialized industries have seen a need when they combined all the contracts into one, every contractor accommodated every issue that might come up for every deal, and there is so many items in the residential contract that just don't apply to the agricultural or the commercial broker. So they have requested and the commission has seen fit to give them their own contract that applies to what they are doing today.

Interviewer: What are you guys focusing on here at the Realtor Rally?

Patrick Armbrust: We are just, great question, I will tell you we have a ball here just seeing old friends and that's my biggest focus is just seeing guys like you and just renewing acquaintances.

Interviewer: Patrick, thank you so much for joining us today.

Patrick Armbrust: Thank you, Kathy.
