Cathy Faulkner of AccessU2 goes green with text message brochures

BrokerIPTV: Today we are talking with Cathy Faulkner VP of Sales for AccessU2 Property Info. Welcome to the show.

Cathy Faulkner: Thanks Dan.

BrokerIPTV: In a previous segment, we were talking a little bit about AccessU2 and what they do, but let's refresh everyone and tell them exactly what your service is.

Cathy Faulkner: AccessU2 delivers a Realtor's property information instantly to the cell phone of a potential buyer in a text message of description, photos, and even a streaming video. In this day and age of give me the information as I want it, when I want it, and right now and the fact that people are using cell phones for more and more things, it was just a logical progression.

BrokerIPTV: So, I already have a property and I've got a video or two done that is completely narrated with me opening and closing it, all I have to do is give you that file and we are done?

Cathy Faulkner: We will have to translate that file into a web recognizable format. So, that's what we will do and then after we do that, we can then enable that to be attached to the property code that you have on our system and so potential buyers going by when they request information on your property code will get your video.

BrokerIPTV: How do you think video is really impacting real estate these days?

Cathy Faulkner: I think it is the need for instant information and better information faster. It lets you, especially with an agent profile, tell that potential buyer in a short clip who you are, why you are, person they want to deal with. Our system is a great way to connect realtors with potential buyers and folks that haven't chosen a Realtor yet.

BrokerIPTV: So, are you encouraging Realtors to go out and shoot video for their properties and if they aren't, are you shooting it for them or directing them to a company to do so?

Cathy Faulkner: We are encouraging them first of all to think about video for different price points of houses. If it makes sense, then we would love to be able to and can facilitate the creation of videos from the stills that they provide and we also have a videography company that we work with that will come onsite and shoot the video for them.

BrokerIPTV: You have mentioned to me over the phone that this service really maybe the end of property forums; how so because it seems like if that's the case, it is a very green service so to speak?

Cathy Faulkner: We like to think that we are going to be greening real estate one brochure at a time. This system enables potential buyers to get all the information and better information, more thorough information about the property and the Realtor right now. There is no need to do a brochure. This gives them better information. This really is a way to save money, give a better consumer and Realtor experience and be green while we are doing it.
