AccessU2 helps sell listing by delivering streaming video, photos and text to the consumer

BrokerIPTV: Today, we are talking with Cathy Faulkner, the VP of Sales for AccessU2 Property Info and welcome to the show. Glad you are here.

Cathy Faulkner: Thanks very much.

BrokerIPTV: Tell me about AccessU2.

Cathy Faulkner: AccessU2 is the company that will deliver your property information instantly to the cell phone of a potential buyer in a text message up to 10 photographs and even streaming video.

BrokerIPTV: How long have you been in business and how many listings are you servicing right now?

Cathy Faulkner: AccessU2 has been around for three years. We have been actively selling in the market for about a year-and-a-half. We have several thousand listings on board and that is across the country.

BrokerIPTV: Tell me how the process works from start to finish.

Cathy Faulkner: When people are looking for property, a lot of the time, they will start looking at home on the Internet and then they are going to go drive the neighborhood. When they do that, they will come upon a property listing, they will see a sign-rider on top of that listing, they are going to dial a toll free number, they are going to listen to the prompt, enter a property code that is on the sign-rider, and confirm their cell phone number.

BrokerIPTV: And that information comes into their cell phone in the form of a text message?

Cathy Faulkner: Yeah, actually three text messages.

BrokerIPTV: Are they paying for those?

Cathy Faulkner: That depends on their cell phone.

BrokerIPTV: Got you.

Cathy Faulkner: Most plans these days have unlimited text, so typically, there is not an extra charge.

BrokerIPTV: And the system knows the type of phone you are calling from?

Cathy Faulkner: When there is a video involved, yes, they do. Typically, it is just going to deliver three text messages. First one is going to be just a text description in words, the second one is going to contain up to 10 photographs of the property whatever the Realtor would like to showcase, and then if the Realtor chooses, there is a video capability as well so we can deliver a streaming video of that property as well.

BrokerIPTV: Advantages and disadvantages?

Cathy Faulkner: First thing is cost. If Realtors are used to using paper brochures and brochure boxes and keeping those boxes full, they will save at least 50% or more using this platform than they would using paper. They are going to capture every lead from those platforms. The other advantage is that crazy little toll free number that you are going to dial into. It lets us deliver you the information as fast as possible. It has the best experience for consumers because it is easy for them to use because they are used to calling a toll free number and we also can deliver that information in multiple languages. Text messaging doesn't do that.

BrokerIPTV: Cost of your product?

Cathy Faulkner: Depends on the amount of properties that a Realtor has on the market. If they have a single property, it would be 15 dollars a month. So, you are buying a monthly subscription and you are paying to own that property code. We scale that up to six dollars a month or down to six dollars a month depending on how many listings the realtor has; up to 25, it is six dollars and then we scale back from there.

BrokerIPTV: What if I don't have a high tech cell phone?

Cathy Faulkner: If you are a consumer that doesn't have a high tech cell phone, you are going to get at a minimum the text message description. The Realtor is going to get a text message of that potential buyer's cell phone instantly at the same time the buyer does and they are also going to get an email.
