BrokerIPTV: We are at The Palace Hotel at Inman Real Estate Connect in San
Francisco 2008 and I am here with Darrell Evangelista and Darrell, welcome.
Darrell Evangelista: Thank you.
BrokerIPTV: Just curious, which office are you operating
out of?
Darrell Evangelista: Metro Brokers office in Cherry Creek.
BrokerIPTV: And that is Denver, Colorado?
Darrell Evangelista: In Denver, yeah.
BrokerIPTV: And what areas do you specialize out back
there?
Darrell Evangelista: Central Denver mostly, right around our
office within about a 5 mile radius of our location down in Central
Denver.
BrokerIPTV: Any
interesting tid bits today?
Darrell Evangelista: Well, I learned something about how buyers
are now verifying their referral choice from their friends and families. So, somebody gives them a name and they go
and with you know Internet, go and verify this person's experience and
relevance in their market and past sales and recommendations and all
this information is available on the Internet, where in the past they probably
took their friends and families recommendation and called that person up and met
them and that was the person they chose to sell their or buy and sell their
house.
BrokerIPTV: So, what you are saying is, people are going
to the Internet Yahoo or Google and actually like searching the person...
Darrell Evangelista: Yeah, they are doing research on their agent,
even if it was a personal recommendation from a friend or family.
BrokerIPTV: What about Brad... Brad Inman's opening
today. Any comments on the speakers or
his thoughts?
Darrell Evangelista: No, I think Brad is right on and in this case
he definitely looks ahead. He is not
standing here today going this is what is happening and that is what I am
doing. He is really looking ahead at
here is what could happen, here is what we could be doing, here is where
technology may take us, and it seems like from past conferences that he has
been pretty right on about looking forward into the future about where
technology might take real estate.
BrokerIPTV: Yeah, there is no question. Everything here is two years, three years,
two years, even one year again. Well, we
appreciate your thoughts and opinions Darrell.
Thanks for being with us.
Darrell Evangelista: Thanks.
