Can Metrolist Compete In A WEB 2.0 World?

Jeff Bernard from ReMax speaks about Denver Colorado Real Estate and it's MLS or Metrolist whcih is used to list and sell Land, homes and real estate

Jeff Bernard Board member for The National Association Of Realtors and a broker  from ReMax speaks about Denver Colorado Real Estate and it's MLS or Metrolist which is used by all brokers to list and sell Land, homes and real estate in Metro Denver.

Brokeriptv : We are talking today with Jeff Bernard past president of the Denver board of Realtors and a current Director for the National Association of Realtors. Jeff thanks for joining us.
 
Jeff Bernard: Thanks for having me.
 
Brokeriptv : Talking about metro list, how did metro list begin?
 
Jeff Bernard: Metro list actually began with McGraw-Hill was putting out of a book publication that had real estate information that brokers used and McGraw-Hill took a little bit too much ownership in that publication. So realtors band together nice at we need our own entity.
 
Brokeriptv : Yeah.
 
Jeff Bernard: So we can process data properly. We could make sure thats clean data and that the realtor community and the real estate community can have something that they can provide to their clients its reliable and something thats inexpensive for the most part,
 
Brokeriptv : How about the relationship between metro list and the Denver board of Realtors?
 
Jeff Bernard: Metro list in the Denver Board of Realtors there is the symbiotic relationship in many respects. There are five associations in the metro Denver area. All the associations have an ownership in metro list. In fact its an equal ownership across the board regardless of the size of the association. So they are the share holders in metro list.
