If you could save a third on your mortgage costs why is it even a conversation? The Census Bureau and national report data estimate that if all the homeowners who could refinance did, they would save an estimated $597.3 million annually. Denver area residents alone could save almost $600 million a year. Why refinance? If you could get out from under the protection of the loving ARM do so immediately.

Remember a couple of years ago when everyone could get a home loan, and those brokers made you feel silly for not taking an ARM? The rates are so low and you can qualify, they said, why wouldnt you do it? They say hind sight is 20/20, truer words were never spoken. The wonderful idea of the ARM is now crushing people under the weight. Even if youre not under an ARM now is the time to refinance. One homeowner said that he is saving so much that he will recoup the closing cost in only two months, and the rest of the savings goes in his pocket. Another homeowner said he is now saving about $600 per month. Thats huge for most people, and is reason enough to refinance, even it its only a half a percentage point. People should take another look at the economy and take advantage of the positive things that we do have.
