Keller Williams Uses Innovative Ideas to Recruit

BrokeripTV  : Realtors, real estate brokers, keller williams, recruiting, mentoring,mentor,trianing . We are talking with Grant Dolby today. He is the team leader for Keller Williams and Grant thanks for joining us. One of the reasons why I decided to interview you is that your company really comes up with some some innovative ways to bring people in to the Real Estate business. Tell me about that?  Recruiting

 
Grant Dolby: Well. We do a great deal in terms of Skating for talent  . but five on the most unique things that we do is we actually do the bulk of over creating for new agents. Before they even enter the real estate school on the internet.

 
BrokeripTV  : As we in article remix at launch this program where they paired up a mentor in the real estate industry with a military spouse, and obviously these spouses were looking to do some work while the other person was in Iraq off overseas and its been to be, it is a very successful program .Your thoughts about that type of out of the box thinking.

 
Grant Dolby: Well there is a lot of different niches in probably goes from market to market. I would say generally speaking right now we are pretty much promoting getting back to basics. The mentoring program that we have here is definitely one of the major building blocks of our program. We used to have agents, mentored produced three closings and we had may be 3 mentors to choose from. Now we have a mentor for 5 closings and we have 12 mentors.

 
BrokeripTV  : So you get an agent that comes in, is new to the business and you develop them in which ways?

 
Grant Dolby: Well. We start by looking at their individual strengths. We are not strong advocates of putting people in the cookie cutter programs. Everybody is different. Everybody has different resources and aptitudes and abilities. So what we are trying to do is team agents up with coaches or mentors that have the similar personality type and strengths. And then we try to develop programs for them that are going to play to those strengths. But in general most people in real estate are going to work with people that they know. So most of the folks that were training today were teaching them how to network and build relationships and build raving fans from their database of met aspiring clients, friends, family and that sort of thing. That is a huge program for us.

 
BrokeripTV Display Question: THE COLORADO REAL ESTATE COMMISSION DID A SURVEY AND FOUND THAT DENVER CURRENTLY HAS %10-%15 FEWER REALTORS THAN IT DID IN THE BEGINNING OF 2006
