BrokerIPTV: Welcome everyone. We are here today with Kevin Best and Kevin Best is from Metrolist and welcome Kevin.
Kevin Best: Hi.
BrokerIPTV: You guys have been busy down there at Metrolist lately.
Kevin Best: Really have. We have got a lot of great new features coming out, a lot of benefits for our REALTOR® members.
BrokerIPTV: Yeah, I was curious. I played around a little bit with your new mapping products and it looks like you are the Prime Access, gives us access to use MicroSoft® Virtual Earth™ and displaying properties. Why don't you tell us about that feature? <read more>
Kevin Best: You bet. We released it on July 17th. We feel that it is the premier mapping solution for realtors in the State of Colorado. It allows you to search IRES, Pikes Peaks, and Metrolist listings and have them display on a map so that you can easily define where they sit in relation to what your client is looking for.
BrokerIPTV: So, this is through the Prime Access part of MLS, Metrolist, not the older part. I have to use Prime Access right?
Kevin Best: Yes, you do.
BrokerIPTV: And you... you can in fact display and see properties from all three MLS'.
Kevin Best: You bet. That is one of the greatest features about it. It is one place to go, get a really detailed search criteria result so that you can better identify the needs, the properties that meet the needs of your clients.
BrokerIPTV: Now what about things like is it actives, under contract, solds, only actives, what kind of property status do we get to see?
Kevin Best: We are displaying three statuses, actives of course, solds, and then we are displaying all of the other off market statuses as one icon, so that you really just have to look at the three different icons. There is not a lot of different things happening on the screen. Easier to define the statuses.
BrokerIPTV: Interesting. How about your sister site, the recolorado site? I mean are there any intentions of Metrolist Prime Access to make this available to the public through www.recolorado.com?
Kevin Best: Not anything that I am aware of at this point, but we do take a lot of feedback from our customers and enhance the products with that. So, that could possibly be something that might be considered down the road.
BrokerIPTV: How about the horizon? You guys have further plans in regards to mapping and mapping technologies with Prime Access?
Kevin Best: We do. As I said a lot of what we do is based on the feedback from our customers. It is pretty finally read everyday and then enhancements are kind of detailed into the future plans by studying that feedback.
BrokerIPTV: Any other information or geographical data that can be put out. Are you guys thinking of putting with the listings that is offered by Virtual Earth as far as restaurants and things like that or you are just sticking strictly with the real estate genre?
Kevin Best: Currently I know that some things that are in development for future release are looking at layers that would incorporate items like school districts and MLS areas so people can better define where their property sits in relation to those areas. We have really raised the bar on the type of technology that we are providing for our customers to make themselves more efficient.
BrokerIPTV: Correct. You guys are doing great work down there and I appreciate you being here today.
Kevin Best: Thank you. I appreciate your time.
