Scott Sambucci with Altos Research provides real estate market data

BrokerIPTV: Hi. I am Mark Eibner with Broker IPTV and we are up here on the vendor floor with the innovators and Inman Real Estate Connect at San Francisco 2008 and I am here with Scott Sambucci and Scott is with Altos Research and Scott I understand you got a new product out there you just released here at Inman.

Scott Sambucci: Yep, that's right. It is called AltosXplorer.

BrokerIPTV: And what's different about this product as compared to your conventional product we have been working with over the past year.

Scott Sambucci: Primarily with Altos Explorer, the idea is to make it even easier for real estate agents to access the data that we are providing to them. So, with just a couple of clicks, they can create a chart for any static for any zipcode, any neighborhood in the entire market area. So, when they are subscribing to our service, they are not only getting the market reports and the easily used charts for the website, but access to their database that they can use for listing presentations, for emails that they might want to do or any other uses where they feel like they need data in real time for a specific purpose.

BrokerIPTV: Yeah, your other product really was just providing pricing, [Inaudible] and so forth on a zip code. This has a lot more further details we can drill down into.

Scott Sambucci: Yeah, I mean on our market reports, we have always supplied a sort of a general level of market statistics, but what we have now made it do is provide a lot more detail, a deeper breadth of statistics, things like year-on-year inventory or percent of magnitude price decreases. It allows the nation [Phonetic] to be a lot more analytical and a lot more specific to create a more compelling story to educate their consumers about how the market is doing.

BrokerIPTV: So, how is Altos doing as far as your subscriber base and users?

Scott Sambucci: We are doing great. We are adding customers every day. We add new clients here. We added a couple as we were just talking here at the conference. We have got Wall Street clients that are signing up, looking for more market information as the real estate market, financial derivatives markets get more sophisticated. So, you know keeping up with demand, but hiring new people and certainly making sure that our customers stay happy.
