Team Profiles on Metrolist PrimeAccess Support Collaboration and Syndication

Melissa Olson from Metrolist sits down with BrokerIPTV.com to discuss one of their newest features, team profiles, that supports collaboration and listing syndication.

Interviewer: Today we are talking with Melissa Olson from Metrolist; she is the Senior Marketing and Account Manager Sales, thank you.

Melissa Olson: Thank you for having me.

Interviewer: Appreciate you being here. You know in our previous interview, we touched on, at the very end, some new features in PrimeAccess and one of them is that, which has been asked for, I imagine, for a long time by real estate agents, is we can create a team profile, is that right?

Melissa Olson: Thats correct.

Interviewer: Tell me more about that.

Melissa Olson: Sure. So this past Wednesday we released an option for you to create a team profile in Metrolist as a team account. So you could set up a team account for one, for two-person teams or more than two and this team account allows you to do all of your work within the team account using the impersonation features.

Interviewer: Okay. So as we said in the previous example, I have ten listings under my ID, Gary has 10 listings under his ID, we are co-listed on all 20, but we would like to merge them. Can we do that?

Melissa Olson: You could. So you could take all 20 of your existing listings transfer them to the team account and then make all of your changes to those team listings under the account profile. The other thing that a team profile or team account allows you to do is also syndicate those listings out to all the different websites, IDX or REColorado, realtor.com and they would appear as though they will be marketed by the team and not an individual.

Interviewer: But the caveat there is, we are going to have to create a team e-mail address right?

Melissa Olson: You would have to have a team e-mail address so that you can use the syndication services that you are looking for.

Interviewer: Because some syndicators are going to pull our information based on our e-mail address, right?

Melissa Olson: Right.

Interviewer: And some are going to pull it based on MLS number.

Melissa Olson: Correct.

Interviewer: But thats good, because then the MLS of these 10 would still show up under my profile and these 10 would still show up under Garys?

Melissa Olson: No they would all show up under the team profile, so when you conduct a search in PrimeAccess and you find the listings that are added underneath the team account or team profile, the lister name would show up as your team name.

Interviewer: Got it, got it.

Melissa Olson: Right.

Interviewer: Okay, very good. How about some other features that PrimeAccess is going to include as far as team info goes?

Melissa Olson: Supporting the teams, yeah absolutely so in terms of the team, if you wanted to brand your team and you had a group photo or you had a specific logo or something like that, you can load that up into the broker photo area and then all of your branding looks consistent for the team and you will also get to maintain your individual account. So any work that you do under your individual accounts as branded Dan Palomino, but any work that you do on behalf of the team is branded as your team name and your team profile.

Interviewer: Okay. So here is the question because personal assistants are going, oh my God I dont want to take the time to merge all of this stuff.

Melissa Olson: Right, right.

Interviewer: Do they have to?

Melissa Olson: No. If you are going to set up a team account between yourself and your partner, Greg, you would just go ahead and when you set up your team account with us, let us know which listings you want us to transfer over to the team account and we will take care of all of that and its including your one-time set up fee. So all of the account set up at the front end is really maintained and managed by Metrolist and then after that, your system would manage all the listings in the team profile.

Interviewer: If I got a new listing in after that was created, does the new listing go under Dan or does it go into the team or do we get to choose?

Melissa Olson: You get to choose, so your assistant could choose or you could choose to add your listing under your personal account or under the team account.

Interviewer: Got it. Thats a lot of benefits you get.

Melissa Olson: Thats a lot of benefits you get. Yeah, you are absolutely right.

Interviewer: I appreciate it.

Melissa Olson: Thank you for having me.

Interviewer: Thanks very much.
