Teresa Boardman on how to social network even if you don't blog

BrokerIPTV: We are at San Francisco Inman Connect 2008. I am with Teresa Boardman and Teresa has got the stpaulrealestateblog and you were a speaker this morning, weren't you Teresa?

Teresa Boardman: Yes, I was. Otherwise, you won't be interviewing me.

BrokerIPTV: Yes, we would. What is your Twitter name again?

Teresa Boardman: @TBoard.

BrokerIPTV: Perfect. Everybody follows @TBoard. I saw how many people are following you. So....

Teresa Boardman: I have no idea why. I know what I had for lunch though.

BrokerIPTV: Absolutely. So to say, we are moving more into kind of social media management?

Teresa Boardman: Yeah, social networking, I would call it though.

BrokerIPTV: Yeah because... I mean...

Teresa Boardman: You know I mean from Twitter right, that social networking?

BrokerIPTV: Absolutely.

Teresa Boardman: You know about my blog from Twitter, that social networking.

BrokerIPTV: I know about your blog so well from Twitter, I only just connect on your blog post from Twitter.

Teresa Boardman: Exactly. Exactly. You wouldn't know I existed if not for Twitter. I don't really care... you know...

BrokerIPTV: Well, everybody knows you exist without Twitter.

Teresa Boardman: My blog is for consumers, but you won't know about my blog if not for Twitter.

BrokerIPTV: Correct. Any other small bits of information that you can share with agents out there that are thinking about blogging, that are blogging?

Teresa Boardman: Don't do it. No, I am just kidding. Easy. Anybody can do it, but it is not for everyone. If you don't have time to do it, just make a bunch of profiles for yourself on sites like Trulia, Zillow, ActiveRain. Indicate your web presence out there. Link them to your website.

BrokerIPTV: Excellent. Well, we appreciate talking to you Teresa.

Teresa Boardman: Okay.

BrokerIPTV: Thank you.

Teresa Boardman: Thanks for letting me wear my sunglasses.
