The face of Twitter is changing and it may just be a good thing for realtors. We know that there are thousands and even millions of people who log onto both Facebook and Twitter every day. Even if you arent one of them and you dont care for social media, its hard to argue with the numbers, theyre staggering. Within 24 hours of the release of the new Twitter upgrade video it was viewed almost 400,000 times. Thats amazing and it shows that the public at large really does pay attention to social media. No matter your view of it the new Twitter can help our business.

Most of us in the professional world simply can not ignore the amount of potential traffic we could obtain from just the two most popular sites, Facebook and Twitter. We all know the real estate market has felt a dramatic downturn, but people still need to work, and there are still people buying homes, but finding those clients these days can be tricky.

Explore social media to find clients. Theres little argument against it. You can say you like the old fashioned approach and the face to face contact, but none of us likes the old fashioned going hungry either. Just days after Twitter made their upgrade announcement there was over 31,000 news articles indexed about it. Now that is a piece of media realtors simply cant afford to be left out of.

Twitter is now the 3rd largest social site on the net. It is getting bigger every day. In today's market you need to look at ALL sources available to get your message out.
