Inc Magazine's list of the 5,000 fastest growing private companies in the US includes 52 companies listed in the real estate category, according to Inman News.  

The criteria was based on overall growth between 2007 and 2010.

In Colorado, three up and coming companies were in the top 52 in the real estate category.

• RentBits.com: A national rental search engine for apartments and homes, headquartered in Englewood. They registered a remarkable 435 percent growth between 2007 and 2010
  
• ActiveWebsite.com: A group of independent real estate companies across the US, headquarters are located in Lakewood. They showed a 3 year growth of 153 percent.
  
• HousingHelpers.com: Provides clients with housing and real estate needs including relocation and roommate matching. Located in Boulder. They grew 12% in the three year period.
