We are all excited to start out in our new profession, business, or career, or even to start over. We all think that we will be the next success story featured in the next issue of SUCCESS magazine. If we pay our dues, do our work, and stay late, we should do just fine, right? Well that is the case sometimes, but things are a bit different today.  Such are the trials of a Realtor.

We can still get a head with hard work, but now it seems to also be creativity and resilience that keep people a head of the pack. There is also a lot more tools you need to keep up with. These are not just for you to use, you are actually expected to have them in place, things such as social media and MLSs. They do work in your favor, but if you dont have them or youre not using them properly they can work against you.

Another new element for realtors is a possible part time job. I know, many realtors consider it a cardinal sin to work part time somewhere other than the real estate industry, but as we all know, times are different and we need to hold on how we can. Here is a story of one such person and her dilemma with real estate and a part time job. Its a good bottom line.
