V Bar At The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino in Las Vegas

Here's some video footage from a recent convention visit to Las Vegas. I had the pleasure to stay at the Venetian Resort Hotel and ended up frequenting a lounge called the V Bar. There is no question that there are a lot of bars in Las Vegas, but the V Bar is really a well kept secret. It has more of a upscale lounge feel with lots of private booth seating and a great bar. Besides being in the same location for five years (which I understand is rare), it had a had a few other things going for it. No cover charge, there was never a line and of course I did not have to be on a list to get into the V Bar. Another plus for the V Bar is a long list of exotic libations and some of the top DJs spinning late into the night.

Whether you are starting or ending your night , the V Bar is also an easy choice with it's strategic location next to the Venetian's restaurant row , the Venetian's convention Hall and the Venetian's Casino floor. The V bar is tucked away right next to The Blue Man Group Theater at the Venetian Hotel. Another thing I liked was no pretension, no snobbery or attitude and you really feel comfortable at the V Bar. Wear what you like, drink what you like and feel free to dance.

There is no question that the locals know about the V Bar. On the few nights that I was at the V Bar, there were performers from Cirque du Soleil and members of Stomp partying into the night as well as comedian Wayne Brady who is heading lining at the Venetian.
